House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, who represents the Maryland district where I grew up, finally stood up to Republicans and challenged their hypocrisy with respect to current job losses verses those suffered under the final months of the Bush administration, a point I made this past Sunday in this posting.What was the GOP's plan when the economy was shedding an average of 700K jobs a month last fall? Yeah, that's right, they didn't have one.
