OT, Mayor Short "said the township anticipates $75,000 to $100,000 less in state aid this year than the $1.8 million received in 2009." Think again Mr. Short...your buddy, the Governor, who received over 69% of the vote in Washington Township has cut our municipal state aid by more than three times your "anticipated" amount. I guess those "Trenton Democrats" weren't so bad after all, huh?
What made the Mayor think we were only going to get hit with a $75 - $100K cut? What is he smoking? Any fool could have recognized we were due for a bigger cut given the state's dire fiscal condition.
